Tell us about yourself:
I’m from Bogotá, Colombia, a city that inspires me with its mix of chaos, culture, and nostalgia. My love for video games, especially classics like Punch-Out!! and Metal Slug, really shaped my artistic style. There’s something magical about pixel art—how it can create entire worlds with just a few pixels and evoke emotions through simplicity.
What was your favorite part of creating this puzzle?
The creative freedom! I loved filling the scene with characters, hidden references, and micro-stories that invite exploration. One of my favorite moments was designing the couple in the Blockbuster section—it’s a nostalgic nod to a time when choosing a movie was an adventure in itself. The challenge was making sure every detail felt connected to the bigger story, while still surprising players at every turn.
Any tips for puzzlers?
Take your time and enjoy the details—every corner is filled with nostalgic references, characters, and fun moments waiting to be discovered. And if you ever feel stuck, just step back, take a break, and let the puzzle reveal itself to you. It was made with love (and a lot of pixels), and I hope it brings you as much joy as it brought me while creating it!
