Series 1

I got this for my mom, a big puzzle fan, and she absolutely loved it! Even the people in our house who aren't big puzzle fans were contributing. The difficulty is tough, but fair, as you have to make guesses about what changed from the reference image, and it's SO satisfying to figure out where a scene changed and what happened! We did Beyond the Kelp first, thinking it would be the easiest, and we had a hard time, but we also realized after that it was actually the hardest in the series, and we felt really proud of ourselves. The comics inside will allude to the major changes that happen in the puzzles. The whole thing is also very high-quality with pieces that felt nice to hold and click into place. I definitely recommend!

We are having so much fun putting this puzzle together! Just started with the first one last night and got so caught up in it we kept working at it for 4 hours, will keep going tonight!

I started with Beyond the Kelp and it is horrible. After many many hours we finally have the frame put together, in just the frame alone there are 5 pieces where the design has been peeled off and just randomly going through the box we have found an additional 3 pieces. The little comic book that is supposed to have clues is extremely vague so it really gives no help at all trying to discover what the changes could be. I don't want to give any spoilers so I will just say one area of the puzzle where there is a change, the colors are so different there was no indication at all what pieces would go there. With basically just the frame done and a lot of time and frustration invested in this puzzle (not to mention the money) I have finally given up and put it back in the box. I have done many mystery puzzles from other companies and always had fun with them but this one is ridiculous. I would not recommend it to anyone.

We had the grandparents and nieces involved with the snack attack, it was a lot of fun and challenging.
I gave the other two to my daughters and we will swap once they are done.
Everyone is enjoying them so far. :)

Love the odd pieces puzzles. “Beyond the Kelp” is my favorite puzzle I’ve ever done. Quality pieces that snap into place and very little puzzle dust. I just wish they would come out with more puzzles soon.
